TALENTED students proved they were a cut above after gaining their hairdressing diplomas.
Pupils from South Bromsgrove High School achieved the award during a 15-week course at the Seeing Makes It Look Easy (SMILE) academy, based at No 1 Hair Salon, High Street, in Droitwich Spa.
The students were presented with their awards by South Bromsgrove High School headteacher, Phil McTague, and their course teacher, Mike Coombs, on Monday.
Mike said: "The course offers vocational training at its best, and gives students unrivalled 'hands-on' experience of essential cutting and sectioning techniques, giving them a real insight into the hairdressing profession.
"Their motivation and enthusiasm to learn has been tremendous."
