SPA men of all ages are invited to a special health evening at the Royal British Legion Club on Salwarpe Road tomorrow (Thursday).
The event, organised as part of National Men's Health Week by the Droitwich Spa Older People's Forum, will feature seven stalls promoting good health and exercise.
It is being billed as 'seven steps to making a real difference'.
Health leader at the forum, Sheila Neary, said: "Although the Older People's Forum is organising the event it is for men of all ages. We know men are a bit more reluctant to attend health events so we wanted to take it to them. That's why we're holding it at the Royal British Legion Club."
She added: "The stalls will include information on all kinds of issues such as diabetes, prostrate health and sport."
Organisers have invited representatives from every pub and club in the town to the event and if they attend they will be entered into a draw to win £25 - either for themselves or a charity of their choice.
Radio presenter Mike Develin from BBC Hereford and Worcester and Mayor Richard Morris will be the special guests of the evening and will be drawing the raffle.
South Worcestershire Primary Care Trust is sponsoring the evening and wives, partners and girlfriends are welcome to attend.
Admission is free and there is a free buffet. The event will start at 7.30pm.
