AN investigation has been launched into a blaze that ripped through an Oakenshaw home.
Redditch fire fighters rescued three people, including a child, from their Patch Lane home at 2.45am on Friday.
Town fire station Watch manager Bob Morris said the child was taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.
Three Wire Hill residents were hauled to safety two-and-a-half hours later after their Atworth Close home caught fire.
Mr Morris said an electrical fault in a dehumidifier caused the fire.
