THIRD round action in the PRS League Junior Cup competition sees clear leaders emerging from the four groups.
Pool A, played at Snitterfield, witnessed one of the closest competitions as Bidford, who had won only two of their six previous matches started well.
Jack Wain and Scott Nash overcame Alcester's Tim Price & Tom Wadelin 7-6 on a tie-break.
On the other court, Snitterfield's Tom Griffiths and Jonathan Gill had an easier task overcoming Adam Ashfield and Patrick Forester (Stratford) 6-0.
In the second round of matches, Alcester and Snitterfield reversed both their fortunes as Alcester gained a 7-6 tie-break win over Snitterfield.
Meanwhile, Bidford recorded their second victory 6-0 over Stratford who also slumped 6-1 to Alcester. Bidford, after yet another tie-break decider, beat Snitterfield 7-6 to leave just one point separating the top three teams.
Pool B matches at Claverdon saw honours shared between three of the four teams.
Claverdon's Kieran Kavi and Alex Anthony, after losing to Henley 6-2, went on to beat Studley by the same score and Tanworth-in-Arden 6-4.
Henley-'s pairing of William Bayliss and Harry Leek went on to defeat Tanworth's Andrew Turnbull & Lawrence Tibbs 6-4.
Studley's Jack Allum and David Pilkington recovered to record 6-2 and 6-1 wins over Henley and Tanworth respectively.
Pool C saw Shipston B having to withdraw on the night and forfeit the matches when one of their players suffered a knee injury.
The club's A team were victorious as Andy Moss and Nick Taylor inflicted 6-4 and 6-1 defeats on Moreton-in-the-Marsh and Chipping Campden respectively.
Moreton duo Freddie Nott and David Evans then beat Camp-den's George Richards and Toby Robinson 6-4.
Ombersley were unable to field a side in pool D and the solitary match saw Inkberrow's Chris Smith and Ricky Allan defeating Pershore's Greg Mills and Rory Bowcott.
