SEVENTEEN members of Evesham Whee-lers set off to Shipston-on-Stour for last Sunday's weekly run.
With the wind behind them the group passed through Bidford, Long Marston, Quinton, Newbold-on-Stour, Halford and on to coffee stop at the Black .
Well fed and watered the riders returned via Chipping Campden, Weston-sub-Edge and home to Evesham after covering 47miles.
The next challenge is on Thursday, June 30 when Stratford will play host to a social event with a barbecue arranged by the hosts at Harvington CC.
In cool and stormy conditions, Brian Newton competed in the Cycling Time Trials 25-Mile Championships held in the Neath Valley in Wales.
Riding in a field of 150 riders, the cream of short distance time triallists, the Vale man clocked 58 minutes and seven seconds for 113th place gold medal in the 65 plus age group.

The next Time Trial is next Wednesday on the Broadway circuit starting at Sedgeberrow at 7pm.
This Sunday's run will be to Prinknash Abbey 8.30am start, Winchcombe (9).
Meet outside Argos in the High Street at 9am for a run that caters for all abilities.
