PARISH COUNCIL: Entrance to Lower Moor: The non-delivery of the topsoil has delayed the work to be carried out. A Public Diversion Order has been issued in relation to footpath No. 20 that runs through the Caravan Park in Salters Lane. There were no objections.
Correspondence: Attention was drawn to the receipt of a copy letter from WDC enforcement department in respect of the caravans next to Church Lane.
Councillor Issues: Cllr Bishop is looking for volunteers to help on the day of the fete, June 25.
Cllr Floyd reported that two new dog bins had been received. The siting of these bins was discussed.
Cllr Lampard said the jubilee committee had made an offer to supply three bench seats to go on the playing field. Cllr Lampard was thanked for this gesture.
Cllr Smith reported that the village hall had now received a Certificate of Excellence, which had been framed and has been hung on a wall in the village hall.
The clerk had received news of bullying on the playing field. Further investigation was to take place on this matter.
The date of the next meeting is on July 7.
