MEMBERS of the Amazing Feet Running Club took part in the second of the four-race Worcestershire Midweek League series at Stourport.
Unfortunately, the race was marred by marshalling problems and the front-runners went the wrong way. It seems the 10k race was only 5.4 miles long.
The club athletes who finished were: Brian Humphies, Shaw Pye in 33 minutes 33 seconds, Craig Lewis, Martin Howles 35-21, Sarah Armstrong (second lady) 36-47, Mike Warren 39-45, David Pye, Corin Elliott, Marianne Haycox, Monica Guise.
Howles was in action again, when he recorded 39-51 in the Aldridge 10k, finishing 37th out of more than 300 runners.
The club's annual half-marathon will be held on Sunday, July 10 (11am). The start and finish will be Wyre Forest Visitor Centre, Callow Hill, the 13.1-mile route being entirely within the bounds of the forest.
All finishers will receive a medal, and there will be prizes for winning athletes and all category and team winners.
Entries will not be accepted on the day, so anyone interested in taking part should sent in their entry forms by July 4.
