THE managing director of an Evesham company has vowed to back our campaign all the way.
Richard Austin, of Evesham Technology, said: "I was appalled when I heard about the plans for the hospital.
"Cutting down on local, easy to get to hospital beds can only hurt the people who have already given a lot to the local community, like the elderly.
"The transport in the county is inadequate and forcing people to travel long distances for treatment or to visit their relatives is ridiculous and no joke.
"I'm backing the campaign to stop the cuts. As a born and bred local, I think it's up to us to support the hospital that we've all relied on at some stage or another in our lives.
"I'm asking other businesses in the area to put their weight behind this campaign. You could take positive action by making sure your customers realise what the cuts mean to them.
"Evesham Technology are producing leaflets and posters free of charge for the campaign and if anyone would like to display a poster or help distribute leaflets, I'd be happy to hear from you.
The website will be going live next week but in the meantime, call 01386 769601 or email hr@evesham.com.
