WORCESTER badminton ace Simon Archer will be relishing a return to the international scene following knee surgery.
Archer, who missed the Sudirman Cup World Team Championships in Beijing last month, looks forward to two tournaments in the Far East.
The doubles specialist contests the Aviva Singapore Open from June 27 until July 3 and the Proton Malaysia Open from July 5 until 10.
Archer, the 2000 Olympic mixed doubles bronze medalist, teams up with Anthony Clark in the men's doubles.
And he will start a new mixed pairing with Olympic squad member Jo Wright who hails from Lancashire.
Archer is the only member of the squad not qualified for the World Championships in Anaheim, California, in mid-August.
Burton-on-Trent's England number one Tracey Hallam will play in the singles and joins Natalie Munt in the doubles.
