On Sunday, June 26, there will be a special service at 2.30pm on the theme of "A Festival of Baptism".
This is the nearest Sunday to St John the Baptist Day.
There have been around 900 baptisms at St John's since the first on November 22, 1849.
Many people who were baptised at Doddington will attend, and the Bishop of Ludlow will preach at the service.
The Parochial Church Council and congregation of St John's extend an invitation to everyone.
The church is situated at the side of the A4117.
