The June meeting took place at Barnett Hill Nurseries where, after a meal, members heard a talk on "Painting on Glass".

The demonstrator showed the technique involved, and answered questions on both this subject, and garden plant problems.

Committee member Liz Davies has become the Mayor of Bewdley. The white elephant stall in May has raised £28.

Outings coming soon include an afternoon tea at Hanley Swan to celebrate the 90th birthday of WI, and a trip to see Prince Charles's garden at Highgrove on July 28. For the latter, if more than 25 members wish to go, there will be a ballot for tickets.

The summer supper will be held on July 7 at Habberley church hall, at 7.30pm - names of those wishing to attend should be given to Pat Downton.
