A MOTORBIKE ride which raised £4,000 in memory of a Bewdley caf owner will take place for the second year running.
Bikers are invited to complete the 150-mile round trip next month to raise cash for the County Air Ambulance.
The event was held for the first time last year after the death of Trevor Brennan, who ran the Riverside Caf in Severnside North, Bewdley.
It traces the route taken by Mr Brennan on September 30, 2003. The 55-year-old died after his motorbike collided with a tractor in the Welsh countryside that day.
Mr Brennan was airlifted by air ambulance to Birmingham's Selly Oak Hospital.
Organiser, Graham Cowell, said the ride and other events had now raised almost £10,000 for the County Air Ambulance.
He added: "We never thought we would raise that kind of money. It is such a good cause so, hopefully, we will get more support."
Bikers have been urged to collect sponsorship for the Sunday, July 3 ride, which begins at the Riverside Caf and takes in three other biker cafes in Wales and Shropshire.
Sponsor forms are available from the Riverside Caf which can be contacted on 01299 404504.
