POLICE budgeting will come under scrutiny when Wyre Forest district councillors quiz West Mercia Police Authority's director.
The director, David Brierley, will be at a meeting of the council's finance and corporate affairs policy and scrutiny panel in Kidderminster on Monday.
Concerns among councillors about West Mercia Constabulary's budget position, arising from increases over the past five years, has prompted Mr Brierley's attendance.
Councillor John Campion, cabinet member for finance and corporate affairs, said: "We encourage public participation."
The meeting starts at 6pm, at Duke House, Clensmore Street.
