A BUDDING young NEW College film-maker was recently honoured for his work after being nominated for a key prize category at a film awards festival.
Tom Williams, aged 19, of Winyates, was nominated for the documentary category at the 2005 Blink Film Festival which took place on May 29 in Coventry.
Tom, who is currently in the first year of the HND Media Studies course, was required to produce a short film as part of his coursework on insomnia. He called his film Counting Sheep Doesn't Work and was so pleased with his efforts that he entered the work for the festival.
