I WISH to protest strongly, about the closure of Evesham Community Hospital because that's what it means. The beginning of the end.

I believe Mike Ridley The South Worcs Chief Executive has his eye on the land. It will be close one ward here and another one there until the hospital has gone. I know how important Bredon Ward is to the community my daughter worked on there for five years. It is a God send to the Worcester hospital, when they are on Black alert that means they haven't even any emergency beds. They send patients to Bredon Ward.

The stroke unit is just as important. My neighbour had a stroke they worked great with her.

The first few weeks are very important to be looked after in hospital to what recovery you will make. I am sure her husband would never have coped in the first few months. What is going to happen to all of us. It is very worrying. None of us know what is around the corner.

I strongly advice Evesham people to make a stand. PS Ever since the council moved from Evesham. We pay more and more and get less and less.
