A DISAPPOINTING afternoon with the chilly weather kept garden admirers at home. Nevertheless, the few that braved out were rewarded with super home-made teas served by a very willing team, with three new helpers, Liz, Ann and Margaret joining Mary, Anne, Julia, Alison, Pauline, Eric and Roger, who proved a very capable guide around our parish church. Nigel and Rosalie's garden was admired and, of course now with the wedding season in full swing, is on view weekly.
Still lots of hard work to do fundraising for the increasing expenses of our parish church. Don't forget the wine and cheese evening at Berrow vicarage on July 8 from 7.30pm with the first inaugural launch of Birtsmorton pudding club.
