Upton's new organist pulled out all the stops at his first service in the town.
John Hocking was welcomed by the congregation of the Church of St Peter and St Paul on Friday.
Mr Hocking, from Worcester, takes over from Paul Derrett, who moved to Hull in January.
"We're delighted to have him here," said rector Christopher Hardwick.
"He took his first choir practice on Friday and is fitting in very well."
Mr Hocking will play at two Sunday services and choir practice on Friday.
Church members said farewell to temporary organist and choirmaster John Evans at a service on June 5, attended by the Bishop of Dudley.
"We're really keen to recruit new choristers, both adults and children," said Rev Hardwick.
"Anyone's free to come along to choir practice at 6.30pm on Friday, or ring me on 01684 591241."
