AN Upton couple have been honoured for their services to the RNLI.
John and Sylvia Pountney, of Baughton, were presented with silver badges at the RNLI's regional conference at Kidderminster.
The award marks Mr and Mrs Pountney's 15 years of service to the cause.
The Worcestershire RNLI group, which includes Upton, has already raised £4,758 for its linked lifeboat station at Newquay in Wales. The cash will be used to buy computer equipment and protective clothing for the crew.
Mr and Mrs Pountney were presented with the badges by Vic Cocker of the RNLI.
