A SECOND stolen car has been found in the Worcester and Birmingham Canal in Droitwich in the space of
24 hours.
A grey Ford Fiesta which was stolen from an address in Parson Corner some time after 10pm on Wednesday, June 15, was spotted in the water near Leigh Road at 5.10am on Thursday.
The first car was a burgundy Ford Orion stolen from Ombersley Road, between 5.30pm on Tuesday, June 14 and 7.15am hours on Wednesday, June 15.
It was found in the water near Salwarpe Road at around 6.50am hours on Wednesday.
"It appears that both vehicles were driven down a narrow towpath before entering the water," said a Droitwich Police spokesman.
They are appealing to the public for information about both incidents.
