THE Mathon, Cradley and Storridge Tennis Club's ladies' doubles took place with the clear winners, Frances Davies and Sally Helder, going through the tournament finals on September 10.
They will meet Carol Dandy and Pat Pugh who came second holding off a close challenge from Anita Waite and Ursula Mason.
In the earlier men's doubles, Steve Meredith and Peter Flagg won all their matches to go through to the final against runners-up, Chris Brandon-White and Duncan Hanniford. Tony Dalley and David Williamson came in third.
The mixed doubles tournament takes place on June 26, and there are plenty of places left for ladies.
As for last year, the MCS Tennis Club will welcome the Chenobyl Children Lifeline group visiting Malvern from Belarus in June.
