THE new junior rugby season at Malvern Rugby Club kicks off on Sunday (September 5) with registration and training for all age groups.

Youngsters aged between 6 and 17 years old are invited to join the 10 junior rugby teams that make up the Youth Development Section and the three junior teams of the Malvern 'Angels', who cater specifically for girls rugby.

To avoid any delays, parents and carers are asked to stagger the times that they arrive with their youngsters at Spring Lane. Boys and girls who are in Year 7 to Year 11 (aged between 11 and 16 years old) at school, should arrive for training at 9.30 a.m. This will give all the junior players the chance to register and pay their annual subscriptions before their squad coaches take them away to prepare for a very challenging season.

Parents and carers whose children are in Year 3 to Year 6 (aged between 6 and 11 years old) are asked to turn-up to register at 10.45am to register and then train with the mini/midi squad coaches until 12.15pm.

The junior subscription rates for the new season have not altered since last season and parents/carers will only have to pay £15.00 membership/child for 35 Sundays of rugby.
