ONE of Malvern Rugby Club's life members, who turned out for the club in the 1930s, died on Sunday.
Cliff Willis, aged 84, of Malvern Link, a former chairman and president of the club, had been suffering ill health for some time but usually managed to get down to Spring Lane on match days.
In December 2000 he was a special guest for the opening of Malvern's new clubhouse at Spring Lane. He is also honorary president of the Malvern RFC Youth Development Section.
His funeral is to be held at Worcester Crematorium on Wednesday (July 14) at 10am with a gathering afterwards at Malvern Rugby Club.
