TOWN Reserves progressed to the final of the Evesham Hospital Cup after a poor display of football which was just good enough to beat a struggling Feckenham side.

Town always seem to find it difficult on hard ground and Saturday was made all the worse by a strong cross-wind.
Once again, Jamie Thomas marshalled the defence of Simpson, Shipman and Roberts restricting Feckenham to about three half- chances in the whole game. Malvern's midfield of Goodman, Baker, Finnigan and Rose won a lot of ball, but their distribution was not up to their normal standard and lots of passes were intercepted or cut out by their Feckenham counterparts.
The first-half ran out without any serious goalmouth action.
The match was decided on 57 minutes with quick passing between Finnigan and Fellows. The latter crossed to Ollie Endacott, who appeared a fraction offside, but as the flag stayed down, the striker spooned the ball over the keeper and into the net to put his side through to the final.
