MALVERN Town have a tough month ahead starting with a league trip to Loughborough tomorrow (Saturday).
On Wednesday they travel to Halesowen to play Causeway United, followed by the FA Vase third round game at home to Skelmersdale, the second round WFA Senior Urn game against Castle Vale and a home league game against high-flying Quorn, who have already beaten Malvern this season. All this before the Bank Holiday Monday fixture away to local rivals Westfields.
Manager Neil Hunt says that the results achieved this month will determine whether Malvern can maintain a realistic challenge for the title.
Hunt said: "The league is very topsy-turvy this year and we have already beaten three league leaders in Chasetown, Oadby and Rushall last Saturday.
"The league in there for the taking and any team who can string a run of victories together will be in with a shout. I expect Rushall and Stourbridge to be there at the end but if we can keep the team spirit and morale as high as it is now, despite all the injuries, then there is no reason why we cannot be amongst them.
"Both Loughborough and Quorn are above us in the league and with two important cup ties also in the month, we need to maintain the momentum."
Likely squad: Wyatt, Lambert, Chalmers, Clayton, Cannon, Bullock, Heaney, Jones, Jukes, Smith, Preedy (D), Preedy (P), Cox, Judge, James, Thomas, and Tomkins
Town Reserves are at home to Wednesbury Town tomorrow (Saturday), kick-off 2.45pm
