MALVERN Town's home game with 11th in the table Barwell ended all square with hardly a shot at goal from either side in the whole 90 minutes.
MALVERN TOWN 0, BARWELL 0
Played in a swirling wind which prevented any decent football being played, both sides lacked ideas and passion.
Town looked the most likely to break the deadlock and on several occasions found themselves in the visitors' box but efforts from Duncan Preedy, Des Cox and Ian Stevenson went well wide with only the keeper to beat.
At the other end, when Barwell did get out of their own half, the same pattern took place although the Malvern back four, marshalled by Nathan Jukes, restricted them to long distant efforts which were either wide or over the crossbar.
The second half followed a similar pattern and it became obvious that the visitors were quite happy with a draw and they never mounted an attack.
Malvern didn't look like scoring either and shots by Stevenson and Duncan Preedy (twice) went wide when well-placed.
Tomorrow (Saturday) Town are away at Racing Club Warwick (3pm).
Town Reserves are at home against Wolverhampton United (2.45pm).
