GRAEME Hick is Worcestershire County Cricket Club's Rock Lobster Player of the Month for April/May.
He was presented with a Paul Smith watch by sponsors Jamie Jones, and his partner, Linda Preston of the Worcester jewellers during the totesport match against Essex at New Road.
Hick amassed 24 points for the period, putting him just one point ahead of Chaminda Vaas and Zander de Bruyn, who tied for second place.
The points for the Rock Lobster Player of the Month competition are awarded by members of the Press.
The points awarded cover all of Worcestershire's first class and one-day matches and are allocated according to individual performance.
The leading player in Frizzell County Championship matches receives ten points, second six and third four points.
In all other matches the player to impress most receives five points, second three and third one point, with the monthly winner being the player with the highest number of points.
Ben Smith is already storming away this month, but with a watch courtesy of Rock Lobster on offer every month, all the players will be doing their best to catch him!
