CHICKEN, giant prawns, mussels and squid will be among the ingredients in a giant-sized paella to be served up at a village pub on Sunday.
The 5ft pan will hold enough of the tasty dish to serve up to 200 people at the Paella Party at the Walter de Cantelupe Inn, Kempsey, near Worcester.
"It takes six people to hold it when it's full, and is an authentic dish," said pub landlord Martin Lloyd-Morris.
"Our first paella party was so successful that we decided to make it an annual event. This time of year is perfect as the paella pan is so big we have to cook outside."
This year for the first time, there will also be non-fish and vegetarian paellas available for those who book and pay in advance of the date.
Tickets are £12 in advance or £14 on the day and the price includes half a pint of sangria and a choice of salads, followed by strawberries and cream.
