LONG tailbacks for-med on the M5 this morning after a car hit the central reservation.
Ambulance crews attended the scene but say nobody was injured in the crash which happened on the southbound carriageway, just before junction six, at 7.30am.
The third lane was closed while debris was cleared away and traffic queued until about 9am.
There was also a minor collision at junction five southbound. The car had smashed into the central reservation and was facing the wrong direction after the impact. Onlookers on the northbound carriageway also caused slight delays
Two vehicles in a collision
PARAMEDICS and firefighters attended the scene after a collision involving a car and a lorry in South Littleton, near Eves-ham, early this morning.
One person was trapped in the car and emergency services had to deal with leaking diesel.
The two-vehicle collision occurred in Main Street at around 7.30am today. Else where in Worcest-ershire, a motorcyclist who came off his bike and somersaulted 30 feet into the air came away unscathed.
The lucky rider was attended to by ambulance crews at Spetchley Gardens, at Spetchley, near Worcester, this morning but needed no treatment.
