CRICKET legend Tom Graveney was in Worcestershire to endorse a unique high-tech sports unit - a world away from the New Road nets where he honed his technique.
Former England and county star Graveney, now chairman of the Marylebone Cricket Club, officially opened University College Worcester's Motion Analysis Research and Rehabilitation Centre (MAARC).
The £2m facility shows sportsmen and women 3D images of their actions - anything from bowling and throwing to golf swings and polo - to improve performance and avoid sporting injuries.
It is the only one of its kind in Europe and was used to study the techniques of England's bowlers ahead of their winning cricket tour to South Africa last year.
