MAKING sure they had a go at everything proved a juggling act for Guides when they had a day of entertainment to celebrate their 25th anniversary.
The Laugherne District Girl Guides spent Saturday learning circus skills, before being treated to a fire-eating show and a demonstration of how to use a bed of nails.
They also put on a performance of their own, showing off their newly found juggling talents. The event took place at the memorial hall in Leigh Sinton, near Malvern, where the children capped off a long day with a sleepover - part of the national Giant Sleepover event organised by BT to raise up to £1m for the charity ChildLine.
"Everyone had a great time, but the girls were certainly glad of the rest at the end of it," said assistant guider Ann Somers.
