CYCLING: The first 25-mile time trial in the Redditch evening series was held on June 14 on the Cookhill/Worcester course.
Ollie Braithwaite won, but was disappointed to record a time of 1hr 1sec. Braithwaite was competing on the back of an impressive outing in the Shirley Roads Open 50-mile time trial on the K33/50 Alcester/Bishops Cleeve course, finishing eighth in 2hrs 04mins 16secs.
