NUISANCE vehicles dumped in town car parks could be removed soon as Redditch Council looks at implementing new legislation.

However, there was criticism this week from one resident who said Redditch Council had done little to move four dumped cars in Mickleton Close, Oakenshaw - a charge the council denied. Brian O'Gorman said he had complained numerous times about four cars in the close which had been there since February, with no car tax and flat tyres.

Guy Revans, the council's head of environmental services said the officers were sent out to inspect and assess any reports of abandoned vehicles as soon as possible.
