A SERIES of concerts at Tardebigge Church celebrating English song begins on Sunday at 3pm with Tales of the Unexpected.
Mezzo soprano Diana Moore, with Christopher Gould on piano, present a varied programme of music and songs by Stanford, Elgar, Tom Leher and Sondeim. The concert also features Robin Holloway's setting of poems by Stevie Smith, Five Little Songs about Death. There is a free pre-concert discussion before the show in the Community Hall at 2pm
Tickets priced £10.50 (£3 students and unemployed) are available from Jennie McGregor-Smith on 872422. Admission is free for accompanied school-age children.
