RICHARD Wilkinson is set to give Barnt Green CC a huge boost by returning for this weekend's big games.
The gifted all rounder is set to be back from Loughborough University and is eligible to play in Saturday's Birmingham and District League Premier Division game at Himley.
Wilkinson is also expected to play in Sunday's regional final of the Cockspur National Knockout Cup at Old Hill (1pm start).
First team manager Paul Clarke believes Wilkinson's return will be a boost for the side, which slumped to a losing draw at home to West Bromwich Dartmouth on Saturday.
He said: "Richard is a good batsmen, fielder and bowler so it's great to have him back.
"The lads are all determined to put right what happened against West Brom this weekend.
"They have all talked about it and acknowledged it was some individual errors that cost us.
"But there's a long way to go this season so there's no need to worry just yet"
Batsman Paul Bedford, who made a blistering start to the season, could make Saturday's game at Himley.
He has been hampered by work commitments in the last month County players Roger Sillence and David Wigley are ineligible for Sunday's game at Old Hill.
