AVONCROFT lost by five wickets to Old Vigornians in a friendly on Sunday.
Openers Matt Hare (20) and Andy Nicol (21) got their side off to a quick start with the bat, before a fourth wicket stand of 65 by Mark Whitehead (41 not out) and Jon Bird (36) steered them to 183-6.
Lee Rodway (0-24) and Scott Devlin (2-2) were the pick of 'Croft's bowlers, as Vigornians surpassed their total.
