I READ with dismay the letter by Mark R Heel in last week' s paper - Old will clash with new.
What a dreadful thought if planning permission were to be given to 55 luxury flats and an office complex on the old Saab garages site.
How could that possibly work by those awkward traffic lights?
For instance, how would residents get to their luxury apartments or workers to their offices?
Would this mean more vandalism to an area which is already overshadowed by that monstrosity called Waitrose?
Will they take away the walkway by the river and deprive the ducks of their habitat? If Councillor Pam Davey wants to make a name for herself now is the time for her to say enough is enough.
Or we should consider cutting our ties with Wychavon and manage our own town. It couldn't be any worse than it is under Wychavon.
