BRIAN Bennett was the winner of last Sunday's Simon de Montfort Cup competition at The Fishery.
The winner netted some quality fish using pole tactics to top the weights with 29.8.0 and just edge Tim Hunt into the runners-up spot.
Richard Ford bagged the best net at a Tuesday Open contest, while the next such competition takes place on Saturday when the draw takes place at 9am. Book in on 01386 41273.
There's also action the next day when members are fishing Laylocks on the Bromyard Road out of Worcester.
It's a Stillwater Series match and anyone uncertain of directions can meet at Merstow Green at 6.30am.

Evesham and District Disabled Club
THIRTEEN members braved last Thursday's blustery conditions for the latest Summer Evening League contest on the Middle Pool at Manor Farm.
The winner was Clive Leeming who weighed in an impressive 57 lbs and 14 ozs. Wayne Panting (33.3.0) was second, Jerry Akerman (30.12.0) third and Howard Norledge (23.0.0) in fourth.
The next match will take place tonight at the same Harvington venue.
Last Sunday's second Wooffs Summer League match saw 11 members and one guest again in action on Manor Farm's Middle Pool.
Fishing from peg 30, Leeming (56.9.0) bagged another excellent winning weight using paste to claim a second win in three days.
Roy Thomson (37.2.0), Steve Hilton (36.4.0) and Ray Woods (35.0.0) made up the minor placings.
This week's match is at Jim's Lake then on to Bills for a barbecue at 5.30pm. Don't forget to bring a bottle.
Evesham and District Association
THE latest match in the youth section's Townsend Lake Series took place on the Barley pool at Woodland View last Saturday.
The section winners were Simon Pickering, Matt Smith and Jeff Baguley and this trio will be hoping for more success in Saturday's final match at the Jubilee Pool at Bishampton (9am).
There's action in the Evesham Journal Cup Series every Mon-day until August 8 with the draw at 5.30pm and fishing between 6 and 9.15.

CROPTHORNE was the venue for the opening match of the season and only big fish came to the nets!
Phil Preston topped the weights with three bream on the pole for 10.1.0. Keith Locke, two bream for 8.10.0 was second and Jim Nicks (2.13.8) third.
The next contest is a the same venue with the draw at 7am.
