Feckenham climbed to third after a 55-run win over slow-starting Amblecote & Wollaston. Bob Adshead, halted on 91 last week, passed the century mark with 115 as the villagers reached a handy-looking 290-5. In reply the Black Country hosts could muster only 235.
That result took the Mill Lane outfit to within seven points of the top two promotion places.
And Feckenham can continue their ascent at home to second-placed Avoncroft on Saturday (1.30pm start).
