TWO talented girls have won a place in the regional finals of a construction contest.
Eight-year-olds Sophie Bridgewater and Kirsty Lewis, from Millfields First School, were part of the key stage two group which took part in the competition organised by K'NEX, which makes building sets.
The design brief was to make a buggy to carry a certain weight of sand.
The girls won with their project and will now go to the regional finals in Birmingham in July.
