GREEN-FINGERED fundraisers were offered gardening tips from a RHS Chelsea Flower Show winner.

Garden designer Hannah Genders, from Alvechurch, has scooped top honours at the flower show twice. She was on hand to offer advice when The Primrose Dining Club met at the Perry Hall Hotel, Kidderminster Road, Bromsgrove.

The club is made up of women who help raise money for the Primrose Hospice.

All money raised from ticket sales for the raffle will go to the hospice. After the meal Hannah answered questions from guests who wanted gardening tips.

Chairwoman of Primrose Dining Club, Pat Archer said: "It was a well attended event that was enjoyed by all the members."
