A YOUNG Sidemoor runner proved age was no barrier when she took part in a fundraising race.
Ten-year-old Abbie Snow, from Willow Road, entered the Race for Life to raise cash for the Cancer Research UK charity.
Abbie ran the 5km course and managed to come in the first 100 - completing the course in about 31 minutes.
Mum, Tracey, said: "I was so proud of her. She kept her head down and kept on running so she did really well."
The Race for Life is the UK's biggest women-only fundraising event.
