REDDITCH MP Jacqui Smith has been praised for her "support and dedication" to fairer education funding for the county.
At a meeting with representatives of campaign group F40 Funding For Schools on Thursday the recently appointed Minister for Schools promised the campaign would be high on her agenda.
Ms Smith, a former Arrow Vale Community High School teacher, pledged to work with F40 to help the county's schools to get better funding in the future.
New DfES figures show the Redditch schoolchild is receiving £750 less than neighbouring Birmingham children.
