EVESHAM Wheelers' annual Open Ten-mile Time Trial at Salford Priors last Thursday evening attracted an entry of 74 riders.
On a windy but warm evening, the fastest time of the night went to Richard Bradley of Leo RC in 20.54. The fastest local rider was event organiser Brian New-ton (23.01).

Adrian Main was in action again on the same course in an event promoted by Redditch Road and Path CC.
In temperatures reaching 30 degrees, he managed to better last Thursday's time by 52 seconds when clocking a personal best 25.18.
Last Sunday morning's club runs started slightly earlier for the faster group in a quest to reach Prinknash Abbey near Stroud.
However, in high temperatures again, the group cut the ride short after some mechanical problems with run leader Dave Purser's machine on climbing Corndean Hill near Winch-combe.
Gordon Taylor, meanwhile, led a tour around Bredon Hill to Ashchurch then Gotherington and Winchcombe. The return was through Stanway and Broa-dway to complete 42 miles.
This Sunday the club run is to Moreton-in-Marsh, meet in the High Street for a 9am departure.
Next Thursday there is a ten-mile inter-club TT with Stratford CC, followed by a barbecue at Harvington Cricket Club. The race starts at 7pm.
