DEVELOPERS who want to build more than 20 homes on the site of Marleigh House, Bidford, will present their plans at a meeting on Monday.
Laing Homes is hoping to avoid the kind of controversy surrounding the Westbury development on the old school site in Victoria Road by talking to residents first - though the plans will be submitted to Stratford District Council days later. Marleigh House was built shortly after the Second World War and is referred to in the recent inspection report on the local plan review. The inspector saw no reason why the site, in Waterloo Road, should not be developed, though he did not think an application was imminent.
Monday's presentation is from 4.30-6.30pm in the parish room in Bramley Way.
