At the June meeting, president Judith Scott congratulated all who had taken part in the County Food, Flower and Craft Day in Bewdley. The Ipsley co-operative entry of two craft items and two food items won second prize in that category, while Rita Massey won second prize for her greetings card and Pat Richards took third prize for her wall hanging.
The WI will have a cake stall at the Alexandra Hospital Fete on Saturday, July 2.
On the previous Friday evening, 10 ramblers did a circular walk from The Fish Inn at Wixford.
The speaker was member Muriel Clarke, who told of her involvement over 20 years with Crossways, a women's refuge.
The flower of the month was won by Betty Millward with an escalonia and four entrants in the Strawberry Fare competition each received two points.
The next meeting will be the birthday party on July 13 at Woodfield Middle School at 7.30pm.
