A Brief History of Droitwich was the title of the May lecture given by Lyn Blewitt, who is chairman of Droitwich History and Archaeology Society.
Droitwich has long been famous for its salt industry, which goes back more than 2,000 years to the Iron Age.
The next meeting of the society will be on June 24 when Lyn will be giving members a guided tour of Droitwich.
