Bowled over by club cash
ORGANISERS of St Richard's Hospice Cricket Day were bowled over by the event which raised more than £15,000 for the New Hospice Appeal.
Guests enjoyed lunch before soaking up the sunshine watching Worcestershire play Essex at New Road, Worcester, on Sunday.
The day was organised by cricket club chairman John Elliott and Stephen Webb, both patrons of the St Richard's New Hospice Appeal and hospice supporter, Graham Robertson.
Campaigners are working to raise just under £1m still needed to complete the new £5.25m St Richard's Hospice, near County Hall.
