THERE was plenty of glamour at New Road as the Twenty20 cricket season burst into life.
A number of beauties - including Miss Worcestershire - enjoyed all the action from a boundary-side 'beach', ensuring a touch of the exotic accompanied the on-pitch excitement for the sellout 5,000 crowd.
The blazing heat meant perfect conditions for the frenetic, shortened form of the game and Royals fans left happy after a dramatic last-ball win over local rivals Warwickshire.
The next Twenty20 game at New Road is on Monday, June 27, when Northamptonshire are the visitors. Tickets are still available.
