WYRE Forest Gymnastic School are again holding their annual summer school activities at Baxter College, Kidderminster, this year for boys and girls from five to 17 years.
Courses are running on July 25-29, August 1-5 and August 8-12.
They will be held from 10am until 11.30am every day.
There are about 20 coaches per week to look after gymnasts who work on floor, vault, bar and beam. Each gymnast is given a participation certificate, discount on club T-shirt and they will work towards BGA proficiency awards.
On completion of the course everyone is offered a place for the October term in the main school and any exceptional gymnasts will be offered the opportunity to start in the junior competition squad.
There are plenty of spaces and further information is available from Ann Combes on 01299 403318 or 07801338292. Those interested can also ask their school for a leaflet.
Meanwhile, a team from the school impressed in the West Midland Recreational Team floor and vault competition at Lichfield Sports Centre.
Each team member performed two vaults and a floor routine to music.
The over-13 team, consisting of Staci Marshall (who finished fourth overall), Amy Wright, Georgina Upton and Alice Elderton, finished with a total team score of 66.35 and were just edged out of third place by a mere 0.5.
