I HAVE just witnessed the fifth day of the two council "gardeners" working on the carpet bed at the foot of Comberton Hill in Kidderminster.
Adding two days for research, design and supervision gives an estimated total of 12 working days.
The design celebrating the town hall is more relevant than some in recent years but at what cost to Council Tax payers?
I like to see our town's public gardens and verges well stocked and tended, but surely our money could be better spent and enjoyed by more people.
I feel sure many readers could suggest scruffy verges that would have benefited more from the parks department's attention.
